Information We Collect
When you use ShirtGPT, we may collect:
- Quote inputs — niche, humor style, optional topic, and any edits you make to generated quotes
- Design preferences — shirt color, size, fit, print side, and font selections shown in the mockup
- Saved ideas — quotes and settings you choose to save, linked to an anonymous client ID stored in your browser
- Order information — name, shipping address, email, optional phone number, and order details when you purchase
- Payment information — processed by Stripe; we do not store full card numbers or CVV codes
- Technical data — browser type, IP address, and similar logs used for security, abuse prevention, and service operation
How We Use Your Information
- To generate AI quote suggestions and optional product listing copy
- To render print-ready design files for your order
- To process payments and fulfill custom shirt orders
- To enforce generation limits and prevent abuse
- To respond to support or refund requests you send us
- To understand aggregate usage and improve the product (including optional analytics)
Third-Party Services
We use trusted providers to operate ShirtGPT:
- OpenAI — generates quote suggestions and product descriptions from your inputs
- Stripe — payment processing for shirt orders
- Print fulfillment partners — receive your design file and shipping address to produce and ship your order (we do not operate our own warehouse)
- Google Analytics — optional usage metrics when enabled
Text you submit for quote generation may be sent to OpenAI to produce results. Each provider handles data under its own privacy policy. We choose providers we believe are appropriate for their role, but we do not control their independent practices.
Data Retention
Order records and design files are kept as long as needed to fulfill orders, handle support requests, and meet basic business and legal record-keeping requirements. Saved ideas remain until you delete them or clear browser storage. We may remove stale anonymous data periodically.
Sharing and Sale of Data
We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with service providers that help us run ShirtGPT (as listed above), when required by law, or to protect our rights and users’ safety.
Children’s Privacy
ShirtGPT is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.
Security
We use reasonable administrative and technical measures to protect information we hold, including encrypted connections (HTTPS) and payment processing through Stripe. No online service can guarantee absolute security.
Your Choices
- Do not submit information you are uncomfortable sharing with AI or payment providers
- Contact us to ask about order data we hold or to request correction of shipping details before fulfillment
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The effective date at the top will change when we do. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated policy.
